Booking a Performance?
We’ll make it as easy as 1, 2, 3.

1. First Contact

Call 1-866-997-8726 or email Sue at info@susanohalloran.com.

Please state:
• Your name, organization and contact information
• Date(s) of program
• Type of program and performance space
• Audience – background, numbers, expectations, etc.
• Proposed fee
• How you heard about us
• A good time to call you if you haven’t talked to us directly.

2. Second Contact

Sue will talk to you personally and make sure that we thoroughly understand your needs. If you ask us to “hold” a date, you will have first right of refusal if someone else requests that date. If you give the go-ahead, Sue will send you a contract via email listing everything upon which you have agreed. You will sign the contract. Keep one copy for yourself and mail one copy back to Sue with directions to the performance site.

3. Third Contact and Show Time!

Sue will call you one week before the performance to see if you have any questions or concerns. At that time you’ll have decided your day-of contact and setup person(s) who will prepare the performance space and meet Sue at a specific time and place.

Sue has been selected to be part of the Illinois ArtsTour roster! That means, if you are a not-for-profit organization currently registered with the Illinois Secretary of State, 30% of Sue’s fee may be paid by an ArtsTour grant. Your simple one-page application must be submitted to the Illinois Arts Board no less than eight weeks before your program takes place.

The presenter is responsible for making the application (the link to the ArtsTour site is encoded in Sue’s contract). You must provide your not-for-profit Annual Report or the front and the back of the cancelled check that accompanied the Report. (All guidelines for application are listed on the Illinois Arts Board link within Sue’s contract.)

Note: Sue’s performances are never exactly the same. They’re designed for you and your audience. While more hours of preparation go into a performance than most people could imagine, Master Storytellers are always ready to be alive to the moment and the particular audience in front of them. You and she will design a unique program that will meet your group’s expectations and goals.
